Here at Capital City Heating and Cooling, we want to keep you healthy and comfortable! In an effort to expand our indoor air quality service department, we are now offering home energy testing.
What is home energy testing?
Home energy testing uses state of the art technology to determine a home's deficiencies. The purpose is to see how the mechanical equipment is affecting the home and how the home is affecting the equipment within.
What are home deficiencies?
The home energy testing looks for any deficiencies with the HVAC unit(s), duct work, the house envelope, indoor air quality concerns, and humidity issues. We also check for contaminated air from the crawl space and attic. Further, we inspect combustion appliances that may cause carbon monoxide to enter the home.
How do I know if my home needs energy testing?
Your home has:
- Hot and cold spots
- Excessive dust
- High energy bills
What are the benefits of energy testing?
Energy testing could reveal problem spots in your home. Our team can then suggest repairs which can potentially lead to long term savings on your energy bills. Indoor air quality fixes will also offer you a healthier environment to live in. If you have allergies, asthma, or similar health concerns this will help your overall health.
What technology is used?
We use infrared cameras, blower doors, and other cutting edge technology that is on the forefront of the green movement.
